Watched the movie last day.This is not merely a movie regarding the 

birth of a new sweet but it has also a propagandist matter.

"এতে পেয়ারের খুশবু আছে

রাতের নিন্দ আছে

আত্মার শান্তি আছে

..........সারে লড়াই কি জওয়াব (জবাব) আছে।"

A sweet has a long struggle in processing and analysing both.It is not merely a bio-pic of a sweetmeat seller Nabin Chandra Das but we can also find the then contemporary socio-political situation of Kolkata.

When we want to do new things, to discover ownself, there is lot of hurdles to cross.Nabin Chandra had to break all stereotypes to make a roshogolla which is so close to our hearts.But, a circle is properly formed when there is light of love that increases hope. In this movie, the support of his lady love cum wife Khirodmoni Devi has been seen to do this job from the beginning. In fact, she is the one who has desired for such a sweet

All of these features are beautifully created by the director Pavel in his second movie"Roshogolla".From casting to art direction, everythingis so prominent in this movie that it makes us feel troubled that this is the first movie for ujaan and Abantika.

So, having roshogollas will make us bulky but if you want to taste it through your eyes, go and watch the movie "Roshogolla".
